I'm a woman who has spent over a decade in all types of therapies and counselling, and the last seven years doing deep, intentional work on myself through modalities that actually healed me.
My real education in healing came through movement. Since my early twenties, dancing has been my anchor. Every weekend, losing myself on the dance floor with friends and good music — no alcohol, just pure joy and freedom. Seven years ago, I brought that dance floor home. I created a sacred space where I could dance for myself, for my inner child, for healing, for joy. And alongside that came flow arts — silk fans, flow toys, movement practices that reconnected me with play and lightness and the simple act of doing things that make me happy.
But there's another chapter of my life that shaped everything I know about relationships, healing, and what it means to truly see another person.
For fifteen years as a photographer, I've photographed pregnant couples full of hope, their babies, then watched some of those families evolve, split, rebuild with new partners and come back with new babies. I've seen people at every stage of their relational journey, messy, beautiful, complicated, human. And through all of it, I learned acceptance. I learned to see people exactly where they were, no judgment, no agenda. Just witnessing their story unfold through my lens.
I'm also a proud Mum to my beautiful children, Sari and Jy — who have watched me do this work and are learning to meet the world with discernment and compassion because of it. And my doggo Chayse gives me unconditional love every single day, filling the spaces in my heart so completely I could burst.
